The simplicity of MAP for complex goals.
How MAP enables sustainable change
The Meaning, Awareness, Purpose (MAP) model is a structured approach for activating climate action, and improving togetherness and well-being. It blends motivational psychology with practical coaching, helping individuals and teams align their personal values with organisational climate goals. The process starts with an assessment using the Inner Development Goals Assessment (IDG-A) to identify key personal attributes and skills associated with growth. Coaching sessions then utilise imagery and reflection techniques to connect individuals emotionally to climate goals, fostering intrinsic motivation. MAP concludes with a reassessment to measure progress, revealing significant boosts in team cohesion and commitment.

Why does MAP matter?
MAP tackles a core issue many organisations face: the gap between climate ambition and sustained action. Unlike traditional training, which often focuses on knowledge transfer, MAP addresses the psychological and emotional barriers to change. When building awareness, igniting personal meaning, and clarifying purpose, the model transforms climate goals from distant targets into shared, motivating visions. This shift leads to stronger engagement, improved well-being, and tangible progress towards net-zero targets.
